Day 1 – Arrival in Uganda for the exclusive primates safari

You will be met by our representative upon arrival who will transfer you to your hotel and depending on the time you will be briefed about your safari whose key attention will be on the primates: gorillas and chimpanzees.

Day 2 – Transfer to Kibale for the primates experience.

An early breakfast preceding the drive to Kibale forest known for the highest concentration of primates among which is the popular and intelligent chimps, black and white colobus monkey, Uganda red tailed valvet monkey and the rare L’hoest monkey, grey cheeked mangabey among others. You may have a couple of stopover including for lunch.

Day 3 – chimpanzee trekking in Kibale

An early rise and head out to the park headquarters for chimpanzee trekking. After an induction to the experience haedout to the tropical forest for the great encounter. This exclusive primates of Uganda safari will not disappoint as you will encounter countless species of primate among which are the chimpanzees, baboons, l’hoest, red colobus, blue red tailed and gray cheeked mangabey. Do not stick to the primates only there is a rich display of birdlife , butterflies and flora. Later in the afternoon after lunch visit the Bigodi wetland sanctuary for other mammals and primates including the rare red Columbus monkey and the sitatunga.

Day 4 – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Uganda

After an amazing day in the primates capital its time to continue to Queen Elizabeth national park the medley f wonder lying the fabled shadows of the mountains of the moon. This park has the largest diversity of species. Take in the scenic beauty of Mountain Ruwenzori one of the tallest mountains in Africa, you may also stopover at the equator before continuing Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving in time for lunch. After lunch you may go for an evening game drive or visit the bat caves as well as the surrounding community.

Day 5: African game drive and boat cruise

After an early Breakfast enjoy a morning game drive on the tracks of Kasenyi you are mostly likely going to encounter the famous Big Four; African Elephant, Buffalos, Lions, Bush bucks, Uganda Kobs, Giant forest hog, Hyenas and Waterbucks. In the afternoon, take a 2 hours launch cruise along the Kazinga channel marvel at schools of Hippos, Buffalos, and Crocodiles close to the waterside, and a beautiful display of birdlife.

Day 6- transfer to Bwindi home of the mountain gorillas

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest home to the mountain gorilla via the ishahsa sector and on a good day we may be rewarded with the sight of the tree climbing lions in this remote section. However if we do not there still a lot to look to the enchanting bird songs, the beautiful scenes as we drive through the ‘Switzerland of Africa an area known as Kigezi Highlands with its terraced hillside and winding roads.

Day 7 – Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi -Uganda

Finally the Gorilla trek is here; early morning head to the park headquarters just before you enter into the spectacular impenetrable forest led by a trained guide who will help you locate the gentle giants. The trek is a bit tedious as you climb up the steep slopes into the dense forest. When you finally meet these creatures you will have an hour that will forever be engraved in your mind as you stare into their expressionless deep brown eyes. You can take countless memories with you on your camera and capture the moment in your heart as well as it is unforgettable. Depending on the time and ability you may choose you may take a nature walk or a village walk.

Day 8- Depart the Gorilla Sanctuary in Uganda

After a strenuous trek it is ideal to a break, drive to lake bunyonyi a truly relaxation therapy point. It is the second deepest lake in Africa, with its dotted lakes and islands the scenes is picture perfect for relaxing. Your guide may you’re your lunch arranged as a picnic if you desire. Continue to Lake Mburo national park immediately after lunch.

Day 9 – Transfer to Kampala,

Quiet and lovely whispers of the wild as the morning sets in, you are in the whispers of the wild and what you see and hear cannot be replicated anywhere. Enjoy a game drive as you leave the park back to Kampala. You may stopover at the mpambire drum makers in mpigi before continuing to the airport. if you desire you may make use of a day use room to freshen up before taking you flight back home.
